10 Amazing unfinished Anime series

Some anime and movies are made and some still haven’t been finished. There is a lot of anime with different characters. Some types of anime have many episodes and some have few. Sometimes the episodes are cut short because they are not as good as other shows or they have stopped the show from being on TV for a long time, so there isn’t enough time to make more episodes. Different shows can be really good or they can be disappointing to watch. Here is the list of 10 unfinished anime series.

10. Highschool of the Dead

This anime story is about people who were already dead who began to get up and cause a lot of trouble. In one high school, a man’s best friend got bitten by one of the bad people and then became one too. The man had to kill him because it was his job, but he felt really sad afterwards. The two friends just barely escaped the high school but when they stepped outside they saw that all of society had already been taken over by these mean zombies.

Highschool of the Dead didn’t get season 2 because of the death of manga creators in 2017.

9. Deadman Wonderland

The story is about a young man thrown into the world of sadistic inmates and enigmatic powers. He has to play tough games because he has a collar around his neck that could kill him. His goal is to find the Red Man and prove he is not guilty.

Deadman Wonderland was cancelled after straying from the manga.

8. Noragami anime

Yato is a self-proclaimed “delivery god,” but he has no worshippers and no houses. He spends his time doing odd jobs and gets paid 5 yen for each one. His weapon partner becomes angry and leaves him and so on. There is no evidence that this series will get the 3rd season because there is no demand.

7. Gangsta anime

The story revolves around Nicholas Brown and Worick Arcangelo. They are people who take on jobs that others can’t do. The Handymen work for the police and powerful mob syndicates. They took a job to kill a pimp, but then they found out that another woman was also supposed to be killed. So, they told her to come with them so she could be safe from other people who wanted her dead.

Gangsta anime didn’t get a finish because there isn’t enough material for another season. The Studio Manglobe also declared bankruptcy in 2015.

6. Spice and Wolf

The story revolves around Holo who is a powerful wolf deity. Holo has been celebrating and revered in Pasloe for blessing the annual harvest. Now, as years go by, the villagers have become more self-sufficient. That’s why Holo has been reduced to a folk tale. When a traveller named Kraft, Lawrence stops at Pasloe, Holo offers to become his business partner if he takes her back to her hometown of Yoitsu. The savvy trader recognizes Holo’s unusual ability to evaluate people’s character and accepts her proposition. So, they started travelling together.

Unfortunately, despite public demand the creator himself, he said he is not interested in making season 3.

5. Berserk (1997)

The series main protagonist Gut is out for revenge. He was a mercenary and now he is called the Black Swordsman. His life was not easy with his family. Then one day, someone important to Guts took all his things away. Now he is marked for death and he has to fight against demons with a big sword that makes him strong. He will never stop until justice is done. This anime got 24 episodes and but unfortunately, the story is not finished.

4. Classroom of the Elite

It is a light novel series written by Shōgo Kinugas. The protagonist of this story, Kiyotaka Ayanokōji is a quiet and unassuming boy who is not good at making friends. He is in class-D where schools dump their inferior students. Along with Suzune Horikita, he aims to reach class-A.

Due to the unpopularity of season one, it’s very unlikely it will get a second season.

3. No Game No Life

It is a light novel series written and illustrated by Yū Kamiya. Media Factory will be releasing the first volume on April 25, 2012, with illustrations provided by Mashiro Hiiragi. It is currently being adapted into an anime series, which got premiere on April 9, 2014.

The anime revolves around the story of Sora and Shiro, a brother and sister pair who make up the most notorious gamers in their world. Together, they make up the legendary group known as The Blank.

There are currently no announcements concerning the ‘No Game No Life’ second season. Despite the popularity of the show

2. Bleach anime

It’s anime adapted from the manga Bleach created by Kubo Tite. It has 366 episodes although 45% of them are fillers. Bleach follows the life of Ichigo Kurosaki who has the ability to see spirits after being gain his Soul Reaper powers. After gaining these abilities he is forced to take up the position as a substitute Soul Reaper in order to defend humans from evil spirits.

After the fake Karakura town arc anime popularity dropped like crazy in Japan. Which led to the cancellation of the anime before getting a proper ending.

1. Hunter x Hunter

Hunter x Hunter (2011) anime remake of the 1999 anime series Hunter x Hunter, created by Yoshihiro Togashi with music done by Yoshihisa Hirano. The series follows Gon Freecss, who becomes a Hunter license applicant in order to find his father. Hunter x Hunter focuses on showing the many adventures of Gon who often works with others along the way, most importantly Killua Zoldyck, Kurapika Kurta and Leorio Paradinight. Hunter x Hunter has become fan-favourite shows because not only does it have amazing combat but also deep and lovable characters, not to mention Hunter x Hunter is very unique because the Hunter exam has so many twists and turns that keeps you on your feet.

The animation of Hunter x Hunter (2011) was done by two companies; Madhouse working with Nippon Animation while Studio V worked on the series-opening credits. The animation of Hunter x Hunter (2011) while not on the same level as movies, is still very good. The fight scenes are also animated very well and flow with ease, which can be seen during Gon’s battles against Hisoka Morrow and Knuckle Bine.

The Hunter Association (狩人協会, Karyūn Kyōkai), also styled Hunter’s Association, is an organization which serves to regulate Hunter activity across the world. The association appoints Hunters who embark on dangerous tasks such as exploring unknown lands, capturing criminals, researching various species and other undisclosed missions.

HxH is one of the best shows out there but unfortunately, its story is not finished because Yoshihiro Togashi is on hiatus due to his chest pain and lack of sleep.
