Tales of Wedding Rings Gets Anime

Last January 17, Square Enix announced that the manga series Tales of Wedding Rings would get an anime adaptation.

Voice Actors For Tales of Wedding Rings

It has also been announced that Gen Sato and Akari Kito will be the lead voice actors in the upcoming anime, playing the roles of Satou and Hime.

Gen Sato is the voice behind Ko Yamori in Call of the Night, while Akari Kito is the voice behind the popular Nezuko Kamado in Demon Slayer (Kimetsu no Yaiba).

As a commemoration of the big announcement, Maybe (its manga artist) drew an illustration about it.

The said illustration contains the expected actual visuals for the anime version.

Back in March 2014, Maybe launched the Tales of Wedding Rings in Square Enix magazine. Then, the first compiled volume was published in December of that year.

Moreover, Yen Press started releasing the English version of the manga in March 2018.

This year, the 13th volume of the manga will be released on the 25th of January. Meanwhile, the 11th volume of the Manga printed in English will be released on the 20th of September.

Currently, the manga series has reached more than 1.3 million circulating copies, including digital editions.

Manga Synopsis

The Tale of the Wedding Rings follows the story of a high school student Sato who finds himself in another world after following her childhood friend, Hime.

In that fantasy world, Sato marries Hime, and he becomes the legendary hero earning the title, The Ring King.

Maybe created this manga to serve the readers with a new out-of-this-world romantic comedy plot about a newly-wed couple.
